WHAT YOU'LL DO:

​The Security Solutions Project Manager will manage the complete life cycle of all size projects, including moderately-to-highly complex projects. This includes approval, planning, estimating, execution, and closeout to successfully reach project goals in a timely manner. You will act as the single point of contact for project status, by maintaining communication with stakeholders and proactively identifying and communicating potential risks and status to the Senior management.

RELOCATION:

Relocation is not available for this position. Sales candidates must live in the Cincinnati, OH area and be able to meet in the office on a regular basis to work with and strategize with Team members.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and prepare scope of work descriptions

  • Complete project estimates, including take-offs, pricing, bid summaries and final bid prep

  • Proactively check on proposal status, both verbally and via email

  • Develop and maintain budgets, timelines, job progress and milestones

  • Perform surveys, price new projects, attend meetings and propose solutions to installation barriers

  • Walk client facilities and attending pre-bid meetings

  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors related to material costs or subcontractors

  • Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Coordinate and manage the design, installation, maintenance and documentation of structured cabling projects

  • Collaborate with field team at client sites and assuring timely completion of project

  • Service new and existing customers

  • Research and lead in the development and design of new projects

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel while maintaining oversight

  • Complete administrative tasks related to projects such as creating and submitting bids, communicating project information internally and managing client relationships

  • Build strong relationships with our clients, partners and sub-contractors

  • Ensure all project related invoicing is done timely utilizing PCS-SS and client processes

  • Lead regular project team meetings to update action items and project schedule

  • Coordinate and manage project turnover

  • Read blueprints and associated building specifications

  • Utilize Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Good Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) to communicate internally and with clients, create bids and manage documents

 

QUALIFICATIONS:​

  • High school diploma or GED minimum.  Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

  • 2-5 years’ experience in client relations, project estimation, security installation and fieldwork experience.

  • Experience coordinating installations or deployments across multiple sites, including scheduling technicians and managing subcontractors.

  • 2 years of Project Management experience.

  • Certifications such as PMP, Axis ACP, Gallagher, Bosch and other major security manufacture certificates are a plus.

  • Valid Driver’s license required with a safe driving record and reliable transportation.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor. Logo wear is a must.
